自本世纪三十年代起,日本影坛就为五十年代的黄金时间铺排和潜埋了优良的人才(明星)基础。其间,女影星始终伫立于东瀛电影阵线的最前沿。田中绢代则是这前沿的先驱,身为日本性格演员“活字典”,田中绢代还是后来日本女演员“隔代梯队”的开拓者。所谓“隔代梯队”,也就是吐故纳新,约每十年有一批电影新人问世,时至今日,日本影坛大体已有五代女影人出现。更令人叹为观止的,是这五代女星现下基本仍旧活跃在电影圈内,而且是新老“同操一室”。 饶有兴味的还有,每一代东瀛电影女星的阵容组成,都以一座别致的五角星位面貌出现。通常意义上,这个五星各角均有自己的象征与表意。直观看,双下角的女星是当代资深实力演员,两翼为风头正劲者,而顶尖的则是后起新星。若以图像表示,就是——
