The story begins with Max’s first and probably last book, bearing in mind Arthur’s words that Fulvic once taught that “we are all brothers, all fighting for those in need, and tender for the weaker , Cruel to the wicked. ”Max was a lonely child. He had seen his father cruelly kill his mother when he was a child, yet he was speechless at the court witness. His father was imprisoned. He lived with his grandfather and grandmother. The shadow of his childhood grew up with him. He was physically strong but mentally impoverished. He was quietly living in the cellar. At home, he re-read the seventh grade and was often ridiculed by his classmates. Max has always felt that most of them were spurned by the United States. On the bus, the bad boy in the dark room, under the leadership of Brand, was sarcastic that he was the wrong son of Kenny Ken, the killer. My grandmother often worried about him. One day, a new neighbor moved from St. Louis: Kwan Delin and her disabled child, Kevin. Kudrin and Max’s mother are of similar ages, but Kevin looks thin but has a strange disease. At night, Max peeked Kevin into experimentation, shocked by his creativity.
