中央企业在节约型社会建设中具有举足轻重的地位和作用。创建资源节约型企业,对中央企业来讲,既是争做资源节约和综合利用表率、促进建设节约型社会和实现全面建设小康社会目标义不容辞的社会责任,也是转变增长方式、实现可持续发展的战略选择。本文对中央石油石化、煤炭、电力、钢铁、有色金属、机械制造、运输、建材等节能重点企业资源节约和综合利用的做法和经验进行了梳理,进一步探讨了在节约型社会建设中发挥中央企业积极作用的有效途径。
