本研究通过自行设计的问卷,采用单因素、3X2双因素方差分析法分别调查因变量语言水平与自变量歧义容忍度、因变量语言水平与因素变量歧义容忍度、专业的差异。调查结果显示歧义容忍度与专业没有显著交互作用,但是两个因素变量的主效应在显著水平为0.05时对语言水平的解释量为15.4%。具体表现在,语言水平高的学生,歧义容忍度也高,理科生的语言水平高于文科生。中、高容忍组学生的语言水平显著地高于低容忍组学生,但是,只有加入专业变量后,高容忍组学生的语言水平才显著地高于中容忍组学生。在比较中、高容忍两组不同专业学生的歧义容忍度与语言水平后发现两者的关系方向因为专业的不同而不同。此结果表明,在研究歧义容忍度与语言水平关系时,专业是一个重要的参考变量。从课堂教学来说,对歧义现象容忍程度不同、英语水平不同的学生,教师可以将课堂活动的难易度进行适当搭配;对歧义现象容忍程度类似但不同专业的学生,教师在强调语言的准确性和流利性方面,可以做适当的调整。
In this study, through self-designed questionnaire, single factor and 3X2 two-way analysis of variance were used to investigate the differences of linguistic level and independent variables’ ambiguity tolerance, linguistic level of variables and ambiguity tolerance of variables, respectively. The results of the survey showed that there was no significant interaction between ambiguity tolerance and specialization, but the main effect of the two factor variables explained a level of 15.4% at a significant level of 0.05. Specifically, students with high levels of language have higher levels of ambiguity and higher levels of science than those with liberal arts. The language proficiency of middle and high tolerance students was significantly higher than that of low tolerance students, however, the language proficiency of high tolerance students was significantly higher than that of middle tolerance students only after professional variables were added. In comparison, high toleration of ambiguity and language proficiency of two different groups of students found that the relationship between the two directions because of different professional and different. This result shows that major is an important reference variable in the study of the relationship between ambiguity tolerance and language proficiency. From the perspective of classroom teaching, students and teachers with different levels of tolerance to different ambiguities and different levels of English can appropriately match the difficulty of classroom activities.
