人们常用转速表来测定机械旋转部件的转速。但是,有时缺乏转速表,或转速表不能直接测到旋转部件时,可以利用日光灯来测定。柴油机或汽油机,虽然在调速手柄处设有转速高低指示牌,但限于位置,难以标明具体转速。发动机带动其它机械,例如水泵、脱粒机等工作时,可以利用日光灯测定转速,并拨动发动机调速手柄到预定转速。下面以发动机飞轮为例,说明转速的测定方法。我国的电源频率为50赫兹,当日光灯(萤光灯)接到50赫兹的交流电源时,电源每变化一个周期,日光灯将闪光两次,即每秒钟闪光100次(日光灯相隔1/100秒闪光一次)。假如飞轮上有一条线(或记号,图1),当日光灯照亮时,它先在A处为我们所
