模因论是一种基于达尔文进化论的观点解释文化进化规律的理论,因其较强的解释力,近年来成为诸多领域的研究热点,拥有了众多追随者,形成了模因研究的主张派;但同时也有来自很多领域不同的声音,怀疑模因论的学科地位与科学性,形成了反对派。两派就模因研究展开热烈的学术论战与对话,主要聚焦于模因的概念、模因的传播机制、模因论的学科地位及其研究方法等方面。这场学术论战是模因研究发展的生命之源,有力推动了模因研究的持续发展。
Memetics is a theory that explains the law of cultural evolution based on the Darwinian theory of evolution. Due to its strong explanatory power, it has become a research hotspot in many fields in recent years. It has many followers and forms the advocate of memetic research. At the same time, however, there are also voices from many different fields, doubting the status and scientific nature of memetics and forming the opposition. The two schools started a heated academic debate and dialogue on meme research, focusing mainly on the concept of meme, the meme transmission mechanism, the metonymical status of disciplines and their research methods. This academic controversy is the source of life of memetic research and development, effectively promoting the sustainable development of memetics.
