九十年代幼儿教师肩负着培养跨世纪的新一代的重任,要使幼儿教育不断地适应社会发展的需要,教育部门要努力搞好对幼儿教师的继续教育。这是建立一支优秀的幼教师资队伍的重要途径,我们杭州市上城区的做法是: 一、领导重视目标明确为贯彻国家教委关于教师培训工作的指示精神,我区教育局鼓励教师积极参加职后进修,采用“学分制”的办法,提出幼儿教师继续教育方案。这个方案规定:对于积极参加继续教育,按时修完120课时、达12个学分的教师,由区教育局进行物质和精神奖励,并作为今后晋级、评职称、评先进称号的重要依据。此项规定,极大地调动了教师参加进修的积极性。几年来,我区各类幼儿园教师要求参加继续教育的人数骤增。
