凸透镜成像是由物距(u)、焦距(f)、像距(v)共同决定的,如何成像,像的性质如何,都是按照一定规律来实现的。由高斯成像公式1/u+1/v=1/f可知,物距、焦距、像距之间存在一定的定量关系,但在实际应用中,凸透镜成像还必须满足一定条件才能成像,有些条件是显性的,还有条件是隐形的。这个隐性条件一般在教学过程中几乎没有教师关注过,但是在实际应用过程中,将关系到学生对凸透镜成像规律的掌握,因而,在凸透镜成像规律的教学中,认识和重视这一隐性条件非常有必要。
