本刊讯由本刊和文化部群文司、中央电视台、《文艺报》社、天津电视台、天津市文化局、天津市南开区人民政府共同主办的“南开杯”全国业余话剧小品邀请赛11月12日在天津降下帷幕,这次邀请赛历时8个多月,24个省、市、自治区和解放军、铁路总工会广泛发动、层层选拔,从千余个剧目中选出125个剧目参赛,如此大规模的全国性业余戏剧盛会在话剧传入中国后尚属首次,进入复、决赛的22个剧目集中展示了目前业余话剧小品创作的高水平,这些作品题材广泛、立意深邃,舞台表现手段也十分新颖.到现场观摩的专业话剧工作者无不为之叹服,一位戏剧评论家作为评委观看了全部参赛节目后感概地说:没想到业余戏剧小品的创作水平不但不低于专业,而且有着比专业更质朴、更生动、更贴近生活的优势.如果这种现象能被专业话剧工作者所认识,由此受到震动和启发,这无疑将给低谷中的话剧带来新的希望.另一些评委指出:如果把中央电视台两年前举办的全国专业话剧小品电视比赛看作小品具有了独立的艺术品格的发端;那么,这
