新世纪以来,自治区采取“优先发展、重点扶持”的方针,重点教育工程项目优先安排在民族贫困地区,教育惠民计划重点在民族贫困地区实施,新补充教师优先安排在民族贫困地区,加大对民族教育的投入,推进我区民族教育事业实现了跨越式发展。全区少数民族在校生人数大幅增长,2012学年,全区各级各类学校少数民族在校生达到59.24万人,占全区在校生总数的39.24%。少数民族在校生十年间年增长率为3.6%,超过全区各级各类在校生年增长率1.5个百分点。这一数据充分反映了我区发展民族教育的各项政策措施取得了明显成
