The Merry Widow of Lehhar’s operetta has been staged in the city for the last time. Performers at the National Opera are often anxious to show their concern for skilled acting and superb vocals, while ignoring the overall frustration with the operetta, especially the delicate sensitivity to Lehár As Vienna 掼 creamy feeling of control.
