The authors evaluated the efficacy of topical vitamin C solution in the treatment of allergic rhinitis using a randomized, double-blind approach. Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups: double-blind, vitamin C solution treatment group. Each side of the nostril was sprayed with vitamin C solution three times for two consecutive weeks. The placebo group was treated with the same method. Before and after treatment according to the patient’s symptoms and signs to evaluate its efficacy. Results Forty-eight patients completed the treatment, including 27 in the vitamin C group and 21 in the placebo group. At 2 weeks, vitamin C-treated patients had nasal mucosal edema and mucosal secretion
