随着城市经济的不断发展,城市的基础设施不断地完善,然而城市内涝问题越来越突出,且旧城区的排涝能力远远不能满足现状或远期的要求,另外,城市地面可利用空间越来越小,地下中浅层空间大部分被各种管线、地铁占用。深层排水隧洞充分利用了深层地下空间,能有效解决城市内涝问题。充分查明深层隧洞的工程地质条件及问题,是一项基础而重要的工作。
