黄精,别名鹿竹、黄芝、笔管菜、野生姜、土灵芝、鸡格、重楼、龙衔、救穷草、米脯,为百合科多年生草本植物,主产于我国的内蒙古、河北、湖南、贵州、四川等地,多为野生。古人认为,黄精属于芝草类,尽得土地之精华灵气,故《五符经》谓之“戊己芝”。(古人以十干配五方,戊己属中央,五行属土,因而以“戊己”代称土)又因黄精可嚼食饱腹,所以南北朝著名医药学家陶弘景又称它为“仙人余粮”。
Huang Jing, alias Luzhu, Huangzhi, Pen Guancai, Wild Ginger, Ganoderma lucidum, Chicken, Heavy Building, Longji, Rescue Grass, Rice Bran, is a perennial herb of Liliaceae, mainly produced in China’s Inner Mongolia and Hebei Province. Most of Hunan, Guizhou and Sichuan are wild. The ancients believed that Huang Jing belonged to Zhi Zhi Cao and did its best to reap the essence of the land. Therefore, the “Five Fu Jing” refers to “Eng Zhi Zhi Zhi”. (The ancients used ten dry mixes with five parties, Ewu has a central position, and the Five Elements belonged to the land, so they used the name “Wenji” to describe the soil.) Because Huang Jing can satiate its stomach, Tao Hongjing, a famous medical scientist in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, also called it “The immortal food”.
