在毛主席关于“以粮为纲,全面发展”的方针指引下,随着耕作制度的改革,我省油菜生产有进一步的发展,根据1972—1973年度全省油菜品种区域适应性试验结果,在6个品种中,湘油二号产量高而稳定,经济性状好,适应性较强,比我省推广良种黔油23号增产4.3—40.8%。因此,1973年全省小麦、油菜协作会议决定,在继续进行区域性试验的同时,对湘油二号提前作栽培技术的研究。合理密植是油菜增产的重要措施之一,本试验仅就种植密度进行探讨,为今后推广湘油二号提供措施依据,以便良种良法一齐
