玻璃是一种具有时尚和张力的现代材料,当今人类居住的空间所追求的是简洁、通透、富有流动性这些特点,而玻璃材质恰好能将这些特点表现得淋漓尽致。因此,设计师广泛地将破璃以不同形式应用在建筑空间中,着重体现功能与视觉的完美统一,使空间“灵动”起来。伟大的现代主义建筑先驱密斯·范·德罗,始终钟情于玻璃和钢材料,并一直幻想着能用这两种材料制造出大体最、透明精致又能体现现代艺术的玻璃建筑。
Glass is a kind of modern material with fashion and tension. The space inhabited by human beings nowadays is characterized by simplicity, transparency and fluidity, and the glass material can exactly represent these characteristics vividly. Therefore, the designer widely uses the broken glass in different forms in the architectural space, emphasizing the perfect unity of function and vision, making the space “smart” up. The pioneer of modern architecture, Mies van der Rohe, has long been in love with glass and steel, and has long dreamed of using both materials to create glass buildings that are largely, transparently, and modern.
