在使用扩散n型杂质进入p型衬底的方法而制成的普通平面二极管中,当光照射到二极管上并在结的附近被吸收时,就产生电子——空穴对。通常认为,有下述三个区与光的吸收有关:(1)耗尽区;(2)在结上面的非耗尽n区;(3)在结下面的非耗尽p区。
In a normal planar diode made by a method of diffusing an n-type impurity into a p-type substrate, electron-hole pairs are generated when light impinges on the diode and is absorbed in the vicinity of the junction. It is generally accepted that there are three zones associated with light absorption: (1) a depletion zone; (2) a non-depleted n zone above the junction; and (3) a non-depleted p zone below the junction.
