建国以来,我县粮食生产有较大发展,但产量不够稳定。30年中有20年增产,10年减产。1979年,全县粮食作物播种面积149万亩,占农作物总播种面积的79.5%,其中,水稻播种面积124.6万亩,占粮食作物播种面积的83.6%。同年经济作物播种面积25.2万亩,占农作物总播种面积的13.4%。30年来,除原是水田全部种水稻外,凡有些水利条件的地均改种水稻,多年来稻谷产量占粮食总产的比重在92%以上。目前全县水稻年亩产800—1200斤的有41.8万亩,占水稻面积
