经典传统豫剧《香囊记》并不在于剧目的经典,而在于该剧中抬轿一折戏的经典。《香囊记》原出于河南省东部归德府宁陵县的一则民间故事,讲的是:丞相千金王定云,与落难的府内茶童张志成,私约花园相会,并以香囊作为定情信物。不料,这情景被丞相撞见,盛怒中将张志成赶出王府,恋人从此分隔两地!张志成被前往睢州上任的周定救起并收为义子。
