我国高等学校的根本任务是为社会主义现代化建设培养德、智、体全面发展的专门人才。要完成这一历史使命,没有一支既懂马克思主义理论,又精通高校管理的行政干部队伍是难以实现的。毛泽东同志早就指出:“政治路线确定之后,干部就是决定的因素。”“为政在人”。再好的方针,政策都需要人去执行。学校的各项管理工作,必须依靠行政干部来实现。行政干部既是党的路线、方针和政策的执行者,又是教学、科研、后勤及其它各项工作的管理者。提高行政干部的马克思主义水平、思想政治觉悟和管理能力是非常必要的。
The fundamental task of our country’s colleges and universities is to train qualified professionals with all-round development in moral, intellectual and physical dimensions for the socialist modernization drive. To accomplish this historical mission, it is impossible to achieve a contingent of administrative cadres without the knowledge of Marxism and management of higher education institutions. Comrade Mao Zedong pointed out long ago: “Cadres are the deciding factors after the political line is established.” Even the best guidelines, policies need people to implement. The management of schools must rely on administrative cadres to achieve. Administrative cadres are not only the executors of the party’s line, principles and policies, but also the administrators of teaching, scientific research, logistics and other various tasks. It is necessary to improve the level of Marxism, ideological, political awareness and management ability of administrative cadres.
