The centrality of the family mechanism in society is probably more prominent in Africa than anywhere else. The function of the family is by no means limited to the reproduction of living things and the passage of generations. As a production unit, families play a decisive role. At the same time, the family also played an important role in the formation of social norms and in the religious ceremonies of sacrificing ancestors. Everything in this continent of Africa, even in the realm of politics, is affected by the inherent view of the family. Without studying the family and its changing conditions, we can not analyze and understand the economic, social and demographic changes in Africa. Is the ongoing change in Africa already endangering the family’s prominent place in society?
