在以往的美术批评中,“匠气”一词并不具备褒义的色彩,它往往跟工致精美但缺乏灵韵联系在一起。但在当下,社会快速发展,艺术界也难免浮躁之气,那些安于做一个手艺人的艺术家却能够沉静下来,并借助新兴媒介将传统匠人对待手工艺的态度运用于当代艺术中。在本期我们所关注的“匠气·第四回:装置艺术展”中,艺术家将匠人的手艺和常用的材料加以艺术加工,体现了对“匠心”的运用,也是新时代对工匠执着、专业精神的一种回应。
In past art criticism, the term “smugness” did not have a compliment of color, and it was often associated with exquisite workmanship but lacklusterness. But nowadays, with the rapid development of society, the art world is also inevitably impetuous. Artists who are comfortable with artisans can calm down and apply the traditional attitude of artisans to handicrafts to contemporary art with emerging media.
