在高中化学第三册,讲苯胺的一节中,曾提到它的性质,用重铬酸钾氧化成苯胺黑,来染棉织物的实验。为证实上述理论,经老师们和学生四个班六十四次实验证明,用下列方法做,效果很好。兹将我们的方法提出来与各位同志研究。首先取大烧杯(100毫升)一个,加水50—60毫升,同时放入已研碎的重铬酸钾1.2克。加热,使重铬酸钾溶解。然后做下边的准备实验。取小烧杯一个(50毫升),加水4—5毫升,滴入1亳升苯胺,然后加入浓H_2SO_4(工业用)1毫升,成为硫酸苯胺。用玻璃棒把硫酸苯胺研成尽小的颗粒。将要被染的棉织物,放在该烧杯内浸泡,放置5—6分钟,使棉织物浸湿均匀。待上边重铬酸钾全部溶解时,将小烧杯内,盛的棉织物及溶液等,全部倾倒在溶解的重铬
