西安外国语学校是1963年周恩来总理亲自批示成立的全国十所外国语学校之一,曾为国家培养了一批优秀的外语人才。1995年由西安外国语学院恢复重建,性质改为“公有民办”,并于1996年在国家教育部备案。2003年晋升为西安市重点中学。
Xi’an Foreign Languages School was one of the 10 foreign language schools in China that Premier Zhou Enlai himself personally instructed in 1963 and has trained a number of excellent foreign language talents for the country. In 1995, Xi’an Foreign Languages Institute resumed its reconstruction and its nature was changed to “Public-owned and Private-owned Office”. In 1996, it was put on record at the Ministry of National Education. 2003 was promoted to Xi’an city of key middle school.
