Ecological migration is a major strategic move for realizing sustainable development and solving poverty in Ningxia. Since the 1980s, through various forms of ecological migration, Ningxia has greatly promoted the economic and social development and broadened the space for immigrants to become rich. However, we should also be soberly aware that many problems still exist in the sustainable development and precise poverty alleviation of ecological immigrants in Ningxia. The issues of sustainable development mainly include the selection of immigrants’ relocation sites, industrial development issues, community culture adaptation problems and ecological environment issues.
