本专利介绍的是一种新型水下呼吸装置,它的气源离潜水员有相当一段距离,但可直接通入潜水员呼吸面罩,不需要经过调节器。潜水员呼出的气体经过一只常开型应急截止阀和一只排气控制阀返回气源,从而使面罩内的气体压力能根据环境水压力的大小相应地保持在某一预定的压力范围内。在使用中,万一排气控制阀在开启状态时失灵,则应急截止阀就会动作,以确保面罩内压力不低于危险的数值。阀的动作压力随潜水员位置的变化而改变,这样,当潜水员处于各种不同位置时,面罩内压力始终处于使潜水员呼吸省力的状态。
This patent describes a new type of submerged breathing apparatus with a source of gas at a considerable distance from the diver but with direct access to the diver’s breathing mask without the need for a regulator. The gas exhaled by the divers passes through a normally open type emergency stop valve and an exhaust control valve to return to the gas source so that the gas pressure in the mask can be maintained within a predetermined pressure range according to the ambient water pressure. In use, if the exhaust control valve fails to open, the emergency stop valve will operate to ensure that the pressure in the mask is not less than dangerous. The valve’s operating pressure varies with the diver’s position, so that when the diver is in a variety of positions, the pressure in the mask is always at a level sufficient for the diver to breathe effortlessly.
