5月7日午夜,以美国为首的北约悍然使用导弹袭击我国驻南斯拉夫联盟共和国大使馆,造成3人死亡,20多人受伤,馆舍严重破坏。令人痛惜的是,在北约这一罪恶行径中牺牲的3位同胞,都是新闻工作者、我们的同行。为此,中国记协代表全国55万新闻工作者,对北约这一违背国际法和国际关系准则的野蛮暴行,表示极大愤慨和最强烈的谴责;对牺牲的中国新闻工作者表示巨大的悲痛和深切的哀悼;对受伤人员和遇难者家属表示亲切的慰问。
At midnight on May 7, the U.S.-led NATO blatantly used missiles to attack our embassy in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, killing three people and injuring more than 20 others. The premises were severely damaged. What is deplorable is that all the three compatriots who sacrificed in this sinister act of NATO are journalists and our colleagues. To this end, China Association forging Record, on behalf of 550,000 journalists across the country, expressed its utmost indignation and strongest condemnation of NATO, the brutal act of violence that contravened the norms of international law and international relations. It expressed tremendous grief over the sacrificial Chinese journalists and Profound condolences; cordial condolences to the injured and the families of the victims.
