海事卫星组织(Inmarsat)公布,为了满足全世界范围对移动卫星通信的需要,将在90年代建设两个新系统。这两个全数字化新系统,称为标准B(standard B)和标准M(Standard M),它们将大大增强现有Inmarsat 对海事、航空和陆地移动通信的运营能力。
Inmarsat announced that two new systems will be built in the 1990s to meet the worldwide need for mobile satellite communications. The two all-digital new systems, called Standard B and Standard M, will greatly enhance the operational capabilities of existing Inmarsat for maritime, aerospace and land mobile communications.
