2012年7月上旬,沂沭泗流域连续遭遇持续大范围强降雨,局部特大暴雨,全流域累计面平均雨量197mm。受强降雨影响,7月10日沂河临沂站出现1993年以来最大洪峰流量8100m3/s,沭河大官庄站出现1991年以来最大洪峰流量3090m3/s,沂沭泗流域各主要河湖水位普遍上涨。面对来势迅猛的暴雨洪水,在国家防总和淮河防总的正确指挥下,沂沭泗局准确预报、精心调度,与苏鲁两省防汛部门和地方各级政府一起,安全防御了沂沭泗流域“12·7”暴雨洪水。
