我国南方(长江以南)杏,据查在东汉末年至三国时东吴灭亡(公元220~280年)已有栽培,浙江在南朝梁(公元502~557年),天台山就有栽培。唐、宋朝(公元618~1279年)许多诗词已述及在江苏南京、句容、浙江杭州以及湖南等地均有栽培。明、清二朝(1386~1911年)的县、府志对浙江乐清以南的平阳、瑞安和福建福州等地均有杏栽培记载。近代有关果树学及植物志的著作,均记载华中、华东地区有栽培。近年来南方各地选育出许多优良品种(株系)如江苏江宁苹果杏,浙江丽水89—8等。浙江平阳、江西玉山的气象条件较之乐清更为高温高湿;这个地区品种群,果中大,品质中上,以鲜食为主,能在酸性红黄壤栽培,成熟期在当地为5月下旬至6月上中旬,有发展前途。
It has been found in the south of China (south of the Yangtze River) that apricot has been planted during the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms (220-280 AD).
