“辽宁”舰作为我国第一艘航母,在舰艇性能、作战使用、作战指挥等方面都没有现成的模式和经验可以照搬借鉴,其设计、续建改装中的合理性、正确性、科学性、准确性都必须在实际使用中进行考核验证。从目前的科研和试验进度来看,“辽宁”舰已经走过交付前海试阶段(包括“船厂海试”和“交付/验收海试”),转入交付后的国家试验阶段。这个阶段更侧重全舰的系统性能和极限性能的测试,旨在验证“辽宁”舰在海上环境(不同水域)的可用性、可靠性、性能水平和极限,提高舰员操纵舰艇、武器系统的熟练水平,使其能够全面、有效地发挥战斗力。
