心理学家认为:人的认知过程与情感是密切联系的,任何认知过程都伴随一定的情感。可见情感因素在学习和工作中起着十分重要的作用。学生是有感情需要的。学生只有对学习产生兴趣,才会以极大的热情投身学习。当学生喜欢某位教师时,也会喜欢他所教的学科,并克服种种困难把这门功课学好,正所谓“亲其师,信其道”。相反,当学生厌恶某位教师时,对他的学科往往也会产生厌烦的情绪,甚至拒绝学习。作为一名英语教师,应重视情感因素,激发学习动机,让学生把学习英语当做一种爱好,把上英语课当成一种享受,把英语教师当成良师益友。因此建立良好的师生感情是教学成功的前提,要想搞好教学活动就必须在师生感情上下功夫。
Psychologists think: human cognitive process and emotion are closely linked, any cognitive process is accompanied by some emotions. Visible emotional factors in learning and work plays a very important role. Students have emotional needs. Only students interested in learning, will be devoted to learning with great enthusiasm. When a student likes a teacher, he also likes the subjects he teaches and overcomes all kinds of difficulties to learn the lesson well. It is called “kissing his teacher and believing him.” On the contrary, when a student dislikes a teacher, he or she tends to be bored with his subject and even refuses to learn. As an English teacher, we should attach importance to emotional factors, stimulate motivation for learning, let students regard learning English as a hobby, use English as a kind of enjoyment, and use English as a mentor. Therefore, to establish a good teacher-student relationship is a prerequisite for teaching success. To improve teaching activities, teachers and students must work hard on their feelings.
