浙江省河口海岸研究所是省水利厅所属的地方性专业研究所,其研究对象以钱塘江河口为主,也研究本省其他河口和海岸的整治开发问题及工程措施等。 该所现有高级工程师4人,工程师19人,助理工程师22人,并配有一支从事河口海岸水下地形测量和潮汐水文测验的专业队伍。其主要研究设施和装备有:潮汐河口物理模型试验厅、室内波浪水槽、200吨级测量专用船等。 该所科技人员注重现场资料的观测和分析,并在物理模型试验、数学模拟和工程措施研究方面均取得了一些有价值的成果,为拟订河口整治开发方案提供了科学的依据,为国民经济建设作出了可喜的成绩。目前,该所还承担了秦山核电站等有关工程的委托任务。
The Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Environment of Zhejiang Province is a local professional institute affiliated to the Department of Water Resources of China.
