《高中语文新课程标准》要求学生通过高中语文课程的学习,“激发热爱生活”的情感。2014年高考湖南语文卷的文学类现代文阅读题较好地体现了这一课程目标。选文朴实亲切,关注生活在阅读材料的选择上,湖南卷以前主要选取中国现代文学史上著名作家的散文,2013年高考选择了一篇外国小说,而2014高考首次选用中国当代作家的作品,与现实对接更加紧密,更能引导考生增强社会责任感。同时,“粮食”是大家每天都必须接触的,从这个话题切入,既让考生感觉朴实亲切,又能引导考生学会关注现实、体验生活。
