From October 8 to October 14, 1983, the State Seismological Bureau held a meeting on continuous observation of fixed-point deformation at the national basic station (expanded) in Wangjiang Hotel, Chengdu. Eighty-three delegates from 27 provinces (cities, districts) bureaus (institutes, teams and offices) in the country attended the meeting, of which 40 stood for the station. The meeting was presided over by Chen Xin Lian Fu, director of the Bureau of Science and Technology Supervision of the State Bureau. The main agenda for this meeting is: 1.
