In 1956 the Soviet Union Н.С.Рензов, Л.Я. Шпарбер and В.М.Зудин co-created a blast furnace tuyere. It consists of two coaxially arranged tubes, the gap between the tubes filled with insulating material. The above-mentioned tuyere blowing tube has been widely used in many factories in the Soviet Union. In 1957, several engineers of Е.-В.Кочнев, Н.К.Леонидов and Г.Г.Орещкин proposed that the tuyere of high-temperature blast blow torch be cooled with additional gas or other material added to the hearth as it passes through the tube gap So that the additional heat or gas lost in the tuyere can be used to heat the additional gas or other material blown into the hearth.
