在西方汉学界,白之选编、梅维恒主编、宇文所安编译以及闵福德和刘绍铭合编的四部文选是中国古典文学英译选集的代表作。白之的选集体现了编者在意识形态操控下如何通过文选编译来重构中国文学传统;梅维恒与宇文氏的选集通过充分发挥编译者主体性来重构中国文学传统;闵福德与刘绍铭中西合作的选集则体现了中国学者在典籍英译方面的重要作用,必将成为未来文选编译的参考楷模。 In Western Sinology, the four anthologies selected by White, edited by Mei Weheng, edited by Yu Wen’an and compiled by Minford and Liu Shaoming are the masterpieces of the English translation of Chinese classical literature. The white anthology reflects how the editor reconstructs the Chinese literary tradition through literary translation under the control of ideology. The anthologies of Mei Weiheng and Yu Wenshi reconstruct the Chinese literary tradition by giving full play to the translator’s subjectivity. Min Fude and Liu Shaoming The anthology reflects the important role Chinese scholars play in the English translation of classical Chinese books and will surely become a reference model for future literary translation.
