高炉炼铁的生产过程,是钢铁企业的“咽喉”。我国目前的状况是:原料成分复杂,称量不准,检测仪表少,致使高炉生产仍须工长凭经验进行调节。为解决这一问题,清华大学与鞍山钢铁公司经过几年努的力,研制出可在现场指导高炉工长操作的高炉铁水含硅量预报计算机系统。该系统减少了因判断不准、调节不当造成的炉况波动,对保证高炉的稳定顺利、增加产量,节约焦炭、提高生铁一级品率起到重要作用。该系统在高炉正常生产的情况下即可安装调试,操作使用全国汉字,宜于高炉工长使用。据
