近年來大家認為放綫菌素(Actinomycin)有抑制某些瘤腫細胞的作用,在文獻中可以看到許多不同放綫菌所產生的放綫菌素。Waksman最初報告Streptomycesantibioticus產生放綫菌素A,後來在德國發現新種Streptomyces chrysomallus所產生的放綫菌素不同於前者,因此稱之為C(商品名稱Sanamycin)。在日本發現的稱為放綫菌素J,其產生菌為Streptomyces flaveolus。根據菌所產生的色素,Waksman將所有的放綫菌素產生菌區分為二個族:Streptomyces antibioticus族,以Streptomyces antibioticus為代表,此菌株主要產生放綫菌素A;Streptomyces flavusparvus族主要代表放綫菌素C及D的產生菌。Corbaz則結合氣中菌絲顏色的特徵,將放綫菌素產生菌分為四個组。Streptomyces1779菌株是由中國土壤分離得到的新種之一,其形態、培養特性、以及生理士不同於文獻中已有的描述。本文為報告No.1779菌株與其他有關菌株的生物学性質及放綫菌素的比較結果。包括放綫菌素的一般化學性質。
