土壤侵蚀的研究对国土利用、土壤侵蚀的治理十分重要。叙述了我国土壤侵蚀研究的成就。详细说明经验统计模型研究在预报方面的不足。介绍了美国土壤侵蚀预报模型的研究情况。特别叙述了ＵＳＬＥ及ＷＥＰＰ的基本情况：理论基础、模型的适用性与局限性。阐述了模型研究的重要性和在我国进行土壤侵蚀模型研究的必要性。提出了建立我国土壤侵蚀模型所必须进行的研究工作和需要解决的科学问题。
Research on soil erosion is very important to the utilization of land and soil erosion. Described the achievements of soil erosion research in China. Describe in detail the empirical statistical model of the deficiencies in the forecast. The research status of the soil erosion prediction model in the United States is introduced. In particular, the basic situation of USLE and WEPP is described: the theoretical basis, the applicability and limitations of the model. The importance of model research and the necessity of studying soil erosion model in China are expounded. Put forward the research work that must be carried out and the scientific problems to be solved in establishing the soil erosion model in our country.
