江泽民总书记在十五大报告中提出:要把我们的事业全面推向二十一世纪,就要“抓住机遇而不可丧失机遇,开拓进取而不可因循守旧”。我们要高举邓小平理论的伟大旗帜,圆满实现十五大确定的战略目标和完成各项任务,就要大力弘扬开拓进取的革命精神和优良作风。 消防工作是社会公共安全的一项重要工作,是一项造福社会的公益事业。消防安全直接关系到每一个企业、街道、乡村和家庭,维系着社会稳定。良好的消防安全环境,是扩大对外开放发展社会生产力的一个重要保障。新的形势对我们的消防工作提出了许多新的课题和更艰巨的任务,我们应该认真学习领会党的十五大精神和邓小平理论,弘扬开拓进取的精神,采取措施,落实责任,努力开创消防工作新局面。
