This paper describes the structure and principle of a new geophone for marine seismic exploration and the performance of the towed array using it. The geophone consists of a piezoceramic tube and two piezoceramic sheets with Higher acoustic acceptance voltage sensitivity, lower acceleration sensitivity, a certain degree of compression capacity and a wider frequency band, with this detector assembly of several equally spaced tow line. Tests show that the array doubles the sensitivity of the acousto-reception voltage of a towed array of the same structure abroad.
