I. Overview of pharmaceutical sales by several pharmaceutical companies around the world: 1. April-September 1990: (1) Sales of Boots Pharmaceuticals increased by 5.9 over 302.1 million pounds in the same period of 1989 %the above. The costs for research and development have risen by 20%. (2) Japan Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Sales of pharmaceuticals in these six months were JPY 139,600 million (US $ 1,097), accounting for 51.5% of the company’s total sales. The leading monthly average sales during this period were: Brain Metabolomics Idebenone (Avan), 3300 million
