剧团怎样改革?这是当前文艺体制改革一个引人注目的问题。去年年中,文化部艺术局根据中央实验话剧院的实际情况决定向院内和全国招聘院长。院长将对全院实行承包。承包的基本条件是:一包三年,文化部每年拨款80万元。话剧院每年必须上演4个新戏,演出200个场次以上,并且实行人员精减,优化组合。标底一出,立即在社会上引起强烈反响,不少有志之士跃跃欲试,纷纷投标。据统计共有26人投标,经过审查,7人有资格参加答辩会,1人临阵弃权,故有6人将在答辩会上露面。
