在浙江历史上,曾有两个地域性群体起过重要影响作用:绍兴师爷——“无绍不成衙”,宁波帮——“无宁不成市”,而今的“温州帮”则是哪里有市场,哪里就有温州人;哪里没有市场,哪里就有温州人去开拓。100多万人在全国各地,30多万人在世界各地,一条条、一座座“温州街”、“温州村”、“温州城”的崛起,构筑了温州人遍布全国并通向世界的商业网络,成为温州帮的有形载体和鲜明特征。“温州人是中国的犹太人”已成为很多人的共识。
