Conrad Lorenz is the founding father of animal behavior and a pioneer of animal behavior research. He won the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine in 1973. “The Ring of King Solomon” is his first popular scientific work. He is popular among nearly half a century and is a classic animal behavior for all ages. Why is the name of the book called “The Ring of King Solomon?” Lorenz explained: “According to historical records, King Solomon was able to talk with birds, animals, and worms and fish. I will, even though I cannot match King Solomon, I can and all The animals talked and they could only talk to some animals I was particularly familiar with. I admit this, but I don’t need the help of the Lord of the Rings. He’s not as good as me! If it’s not the power of the Ring, it’s even the closest. The pet, the old king, couldn’t understand what it was saying. Moreover, when he no longer had the Lord of the Rings, he would even harden his heart to treat the animals. King Solomon tossed the Lord of the Rings out of his wrath. It was because there was a nightingale leaking to him: Among his ninth ninety-nines, one fell in love with the young man. King Solomon could be extremely smart or stupid, and I dare not say this. In my opinion, the need to use the Lord of the Rings to talk to animals is a bit inferior. The lively life can tell us the story of beauty and truth without any magic. The realm the poet can describe is even more than a thousand times beautiful.” Lord of the Rings Lorenz can not see wearing, how intimate dialogue with insects, fish, birds and animals.
