(一九九○年四月二十日)尊敬的中国劳动部副部长李沛瑶先生,尊敬的中国锅炉压力容器检验协会王理事长、各位来宾:请允许我在这里表达我衷心的祝愿。我曾多次来中国访问,但都从未有这次这番喜悦。因为这次我能参加中国锅炉压力容器检验协会成立大会,并有幸得以见到从全国各地云集此处的许多老朋友。此次成立大会开得非常隆重,而且非常有意义,它象征着中国锅炉压力容器的检验工作得到了巨大发展,我谨表示衷心祝贺!锅炉和压力容器是两种很早就使用的设备,在其长期发展过程中,它对生产的发展,国民生活水平的提高起到过积极作用,我认为这两种设备今后仍将得以发展改进,在工业设备中占有重
(April 20, 1990) Dear Mr. Li Peiyao, Vice Minister of Labor of China, Wang, Chairman of China Association of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, Ladies and Gentlemen, Allow me to express my heartfelt wish here. I have visited China many times, but I have never had this joy. Because this time I was able to attend the inaugural meeting of China Association of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection and was fortunate enough to see many of my old friends gathered here from across the country. The opening ceremony was very grand and very meaningful, which symbolizes the tremendous development of the inspection of the boiler pressure vessel in China. I would like to express my heartiest congratulation! The boiler and the pressure vessel are two types of equipment that have been used very much. In its long-term development, it has played an active role in the development of production and the improvement of the living standards of the Chinese people. In my opinion, these two kinds of equipment will still be able to be improved in the future and will occupy a heavy weight in industrial equipment
