早就有人应用表面处理技术,来进一步强化零件或赋以新的性能,例如用来提高零件耐磨性的方法就有:高频表面淬火、渗碳淬火、渗氮、渗硫、渗硼、(蒸气)氧化处理,化学蒸镀碳化物、氮化物、氧化物、电镀、熔敷、熔渗、喷镀等等,如选择适当,能取得明显的经济效益。当然,选择方法时,应该考虑其合适的材料,以通过表面处理获得经济效益,除产品的原始成本和零件的耐用度外,美观,耐蚀、耐热、耐疲劳等方面也应同时进行核
