天梯石栈,独来独往,高视阔步,有狂者气象。牟宗三,山东栖霞人。中国现代著名学者、哲学家、现代新儒家的重要代表人。他1927年考入北京大学预科,1929年升入哲学系,并于1933年毕业。1949年往台湾,后往香港。晚年居台湾,1995年逝于台北。牟宗三毕生致力于弘扬民族文化,认为当代新儒学的任务为“道统之肯定,即肯定道德宗教之价值,护住孔孟所开辟之人生宇宙之本源”。作为海外新儒学的重要代表和集大成
