卫生防疫站后勤工作是卫生防疫工作三大系统(思想、业务、后勤)中的支持系统,是卫生防疫工作得以完成的保障,它的工作好坏不仅直接影响卫生防疫工作的开展,而且还会不同程度的制约整个卫生防疫事业的发展。然而,在实际工作中,后勤工作常常被抱怨跟不上防病工作开展的形势,满足不了工作开展要求;素不知后勤工作千头万绪,综归起来,人的要素是第一位的,它具有丰富的内涵,为了提高后勤管理工作水平,遂于1996年对某省和该省部分地(市)级卫生防疫站后勤人员现状进行了调查分析并就存在的问题提出改进建议。
